Fun Packed Pet & Equine Day!

The event provided a range of fun and informative attractions from professional pet photography, to free on site horse tack marking by Hampshire Horsewatch to a dog behavioural clinic from Mullenscote Gundogs.
Rob Craig-Lowdon SCATS Countrystore’s Andover Store Manager said,
“We were absolutely thrilled with the turnout. It was great to see the local community come together and hopefully they have all benefited from the free pet and equine information and advice available to them on the day. We were also thrilled to be able to support Hampshire & Isle of Wright Air Ambulance as our charity of the day and raised over £200 for them!
Event day visitors were able to take advantage of a free riding hat fitting service as well as pet micro chipping from the Dogs Trust.
Laila Dew from the Dogs Trust said, “We micro chipped more than 40 dogs on the day. It is good to see people are seeing the importance of micro chipping. If your dog goes missing it’s a secure way to find them and we’ve really enjoyed chatting to dog owners about this today.”
